Naval Kindergarten Karanja
Naval Kindergarten, Karanja was started in 1985 to cater for kindergarten education of wards of Naval Personnel in the station. The school received recognition from the Navy Education Society in the year 1987 and was registered with the Maharashtra State Board in 2016. Presently, it has one section of Balvatika-I, two sections of Balvatika-II and two sections of Balvatika-III with a total strength of 80 children. The functioning of the school is supervised by the Headmistress under the Chairmanship of Commanding Officer INS Tunir. Numerous activities and competitions are continuously held in school to encourage children to hone their individual talents and increase their confidence levels. The school ensures 100% participation in all school activities. The infrastructure of the school includes colour themed classes with colour co-ordinated benches, Smart Boards, customized washrooms, playground and Assembly Area. Modern teaching aids are extensively used to enhance the knowledge of children. We hope to make your child’s learning experience a fun and exciting one, and to instil a love for learning that will last throughout your child’s years of schooling.
